MISSION STATEMENT

It is the advancement of young people in social, cultural and spiritual dimensions which constitutes the main focus of Sozialmanagement Steiermark. At the same time it is our foremost aspiration to help them utilise their full potential through  personalised mentoring and support regardless of their social and cognitive strengths and weaknesses.

Together with our more than 120 highly qualified associates the individually required support is being taken directly to the young people entrusted to our care in the form of child guidance and youth care, social coaching as well as social- and educational coaching. This approach covers help with job hunting, reorientation after personal hard times or support with handling of  challenges in school by means of customised learning support  and counselling.

Maximum orientation on results, continuous quality management and a clear focus on further  education create an environment of social responsibility, respect, merit and appreciation for the young people in our care as well as for their counsellors.

Thus it is our constant requirement to establish  preconditions in which all concerned can communicate on one equal level, problems can be solved co-operatively and counsellors can act as successful role-models and not only as authorities. Sustainable supervision and mutually shared handling of all challenges young people are confronted with, form  the basis for an implementation of our most important ambition: Enable young people in our care to live a happy and successful life by means of effectual counselling, monitoring and mentoring along their own personal wishes, aims and aspirations.
